The main focus of Sonnie's practice is to conceive music and energy as the engine of the dance floor — chasing the same joy that lindy hop offers, wherever in the world that takes them. Sonnie's proposal is to bring rhythm, melody, and pure fun to every set and every event, treating DJing and emceeing as ways to spark that same spirit on the floor.

DJ, Emcee, and Dancer based in London, currently spending their time travelling in pursuit of that joy that comes from lindy hop. Brought up with eclectic musical tastes, Sonnie's passion for music is unmistakable, bringing energy and fun to every dance floor they play for.

They started DJing at university, and rhythm and melody have been an obsession ever since — Sonnie is someone who will always bring the party. When emceeing for events, Sonnie has been described as a force to be reckoned with, helped along by quick wit and an excellent accent. Sonnie is also an experienced switch dancer, so don't be shy about asking for a dance.
